I started my adventure travel career in 1996 back when walking and cycling holidays were niche. Things have changed since than and I am glad active travel is now mainstream. I welcome that, and love that more people get to enjoy the benefits of being outdoors, see new places, interact with local people and experience the the joy of a self-guided journey. I have walked all over the world and my favourite places include France, Italy, Morocco, Nepal, India, Thailand, Scotland (my adopted home) and the English Lake District (where I grew up). I love the creative process involved in creating new tours and get a kick when our customers tell us that they had a life-changing experience! in my spare time, I read, cook, grow tomatoes, walk my dog, teach yoga and hang out with my family.
