Are you an ambitious and experienced direct-to-consumer Sales Leader, with a passion for adventure and the desire to make a big difference? If so, we’d love to hear from you. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing, international business that is changing the way people travel.
Reporting to Graham Horner, Chief Growth Officer, and part of our Global Sales Leadership team, you will drive sales growth in our DACH markets and deliver exceptional service to our German-speaking customers. You will be based full-time in our office in Saarbrücken and will, as a senior manager in our German business, play a key role in modelling Macs’ culture and valued behaviours to the entire Germany team.

What you’ll do;
Based in our office in Saarbrücken, you’ll lead our team of Sales and Customer Experience specialists servicing customers in our DACH markets. You will inspire, coach, reward and develop your people, enabling them to do the best work of their lives and achieve our ambitious growth goals. As part of the Global Sales Leadership team, you will also innovate and collaborate to improve processes, drive efficiency and create exceptional customer experiences.
Specifically, you will:
- Lead the team that will drive annual double-digit sales growth in our DACH market through converting (and generating) customer enquiries
- Deliver five-star experiences for our DACH customers (reflected in customer reviews and feedback)
- Implement initiatives that improve and incentivise repeat booking
- Identify process and technology changes that enhance productivity
- Hire and onboard A-players; set goals and evaluate performance
- Model Macs’ valued behaviours and be responsible for team engagement in our mission and journey
- Represent the DACH customer and Sales organisation internally with Macs Adventure, working collaboratively with the Germany and global management team to meet business goals
What you’ll bring;
- A passion for sales, delivered direct to consumer (DTC), online and over the phone
- Experience of sales in consumer, service-based, DTC industries, ideally travel, hospitality or retail
- People management experience in a Sales environment
- Proven customer service skills
- A desire to work in an agile, high growth environment
- Fluency in English and excellent communication skills
